Shimelle's pre The 20 Project challenge weekend by Cathy Martin. I printed the black and white photo of my son and me icing/decorating Easter cookies (ducks, chicks and eggs) for a previous weekly Shimelle challenge, which I never completed. So, I consider this another twofer! I don't have too many photos of me and my son "creating" anything for a holiday; so, I really do love this photo!

This is the second of Shimelle's Challenges from her Pre 20 Project Class weekend of challenges. We were challenged to use one of Shimelle's sketches. I used some papers from stash and scrapped photos of my son at a summer soccer camp. To the right of this layout is a divided page protector with additional photos of my son and his cousins at the soccer camp.
May Flaum's card from Shimelle's Pre The 20 Project Class Challenge weekend. I stamped the "stitches" vs sew; punched butterflies out of scrap paper vs washi tape and I added a few more butterflies. Last, I splattered autumnal orange and gold glitter spray ink/paint across the card and stamped a scroll design on the top & bottom of the card to help fill in the empty white space. This was the first project from the weekend of challenges I tackled. It was a great way to get started! Thanks Shimelle and May!
