Shimelle's Pre 20 Project Challenges: BIG Triangles
I love the use of 4 BIG triangles of BOLD pattern paper as the base of the layout. This is based on one of Shimelle's pre The 20 Project challenge weekend by Cathy Martin. I printed the black and white photo of my son and me icing/decorating Easter cookies (ducks, chicks and eggs) for a previous weekly Shimelle challenge, which I never completed. So, I consider this another twofer! I don't have too many photos of me and my son "creating" anything for a holiday; so, I really do love this photo!

Shimelle's Pre 20 Project Sketch Challenge
This is the second of Shimelle's Challenges from her Pre 20 Project Class weekend of challenges. We were challenged to use one of Shimelle's sketches. I used some papers from stash and scrapped photos of my son at a summer soccer camp. To the right of this layout is a divided page protector with additional photos of my son and his cousins at the soccer camp.
Shimelle Pre Project 20 Challenges
This is my take on May Flaum's card from Shimelle's Pre The 20 Project Class Challenge weekend. I stamped the "stitches" vs sew; punched butterflies out of scrap paper vs washi tape and I added a few more butterflies. Last, I splattered autumnal orange and gold glitter spray ink/paint across the card and stamped a scroll design on the top & bottom of the card to help fill in the empty white space. This was the first project from the weekend of challenges I tackled. It was a great way to get started! Thanks Shimelle and May!
